   Proposal Description:
   To examine associations between psychosis and cognition in Alzheimer???s Disease (AD) by conducting secondary analyses on the large dataset of neuropsychological, clinical and demographic variables available through the National Alzheimer???s Coordinating Center (NACC).  The extent to which a cognitive risk profile for psychosis can be generated and then cross-validated with a smaller, local dataset of neuropsychological variables available at the University of Pennsylvania???s Alzheimer???s Disease Center (ADC) will be examined.   A hypothesis-generating framework will be used in order to provide preliminary data for future prospective and longitudinal grant applications related to neuropsychological and neuroanatomical correlates of psychosis.
